Our library stocks reading books, both fiction and non-fiction, education games, computers as well as a range of teaching resources.
Children are encouraged to borrow books from the school library, and are responsible for returning them in good condition. It is important that each child have a library bag to assist with protecting our valuable resources.
Book Club
Scholastic Book club is held every term and gives families opportunities to purchase books. During Book Club, bonus points are accumulated which allows us to acquire resources for our library at no cost to the school. Catalogues will be distributed to each class with notice in the school e-newsletter.
Book Fair
Book Fair is organised twice a year in Term 1 and Term 4. Classes are invited to view the Book Fair at designated times during the week. Parents and children are welcome to visit Book Fair during advertised opening times, before school and at Big Lunch. Books may be taken immediately upon purchase, subject to availability.
Throughout the year, we have a number of activities in which the school participates. These include the NQ Readers' Cup and our Book Week Parade.
